TRAINING FOR THE POWER LIMITED TECHNICIAN AND ELECTRICIAN.
Pre-registration is required. Each class will be limited to 25 registrants, PLT Services will not be responsible for cancelled or changes due to low registration, sign up early!

Session 1: 8:00 – 10:00: 2 CEU Hours: NEC Chapter 800 2008: Communications cabling installations with a high emphasis on Grounding, Bonding, and antennae installation requirements. This class meets the State requirement for Code hours.
Session 2: 10:15 - 12:15: 2 CEU Hours: NEC Chapter 725 2008 and Related Articles: The National Electrical Code chapters that relate to Class1, 2, and 3 wiring. Related chapters such as Hazardous locations and Technology areas are referenced. This class meets the State requirement for Code hours.
Lunch break: There is a restaurant in the Country Inn & Suites that technicians can go to. Lunch is not provided by MNESTA.
Session 3: 1:00- 5:00: 4 CEU HOURS - Vista 20P Alarm Systems (4 CEU Hours): Understanding the system benefits, wire mount and connect devices. Learn the ability to keypad program a basic system and develop troubleshooting and services skills. Trainer: Steve Filippini, Regional Technical Manager, Honeywell Security.
Registration:
To register for training call PLT Services at 763-413-8217. Please have your PLT license number and complete contact information available. When you register, you will automatically be registered for all morning and afternoon sessions. PLEASE NOTE: If you register for this day of training and do not attend, without a five day notice to PLT Services, your company will be billed $50.If you attend all four training sessions you will receive a total of eight CEUs that will apply to your PLT license. Two of these CEUs will apply to the NEC portion. As a reminder, a total of four NEC CEUs are required every two years for license holders.
